DORITOS MART

Art Direction, Design - 2023

To follow up on the successful launch of Doritos Triangle Island, the brand launched their biggest product release of 2023, Doritos Sweet & Tangy BBQ, in-game in Fortnite and IRL through Doritos Mart.

To mark the occasion, we designed a branded Prop Hunt map for Fortnite set inside a Doritos-themed superstore, the eponymous Doritos Mart, prominently featuring Sweet & Tangy BBQ. To amplify the experience, Doritos then brought the Mart to life at TwitchCon 2024 as a recreation of the in-game map on the convention floor. Fans could try the new map, sample Sweet & Tangy BBQ, and play their own IRL Prop Hunt by finding props hidden throughout the booth to win exclusive prizes.

I’m proud of my involvement with this effort, as I was responsible for most of the visual identity around the project. My logo extended both in-game and into the TwitchCon collateral, as I made merch designs, signage, elements of the environmental design, and some light animation work. Very amazing to see this one come to life like it did.
